Comet C/2006 M4 SWAN brightened suddenly the day this image was taken.
This image is composed of 10 10-second images taken through the 12" at f/10 with the SBIG ST10XME

In January 2005 Comet Machholz (C/2004 Q2) made it's brightest appearance.
This image is composed of 10 2-minute images taken through a TV85 with a Canon 20D DSLR.

On November, 2003 Comet Encke appeared in the sky.  The comet is so old that it doesn't have too much material to eject.  In this image you can barely see it on the upper left hand corner.

As dawn quickly approached the Octadome I was able to take a few 6-second images of comet Bradfield (C2004/F4) with the TV85 atop the LX200GPS.

On May 8 comet C2001/Q4 was closest to Earth on it's way out back to the far reaches of the Solar System.  Notice the relative high speed of the comet against the streaking star background.

By the middle of May comet C2001/Q4 was sporting a double tail.
